Berlin Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2014/15: What We Loved

Modernist concrete, pretzels and Currywurst aside (not forgetting - those cute old-school film passport-booths that only cost 2 Euros a strip) we landed home yesterday with lots of fond fashion-focused memories of Berlin.
The week was a very real reminder of the fashion month madness to come (including the perenially forgettable need for waterproof everything and the joy of cabs). A major European hub of creativity, the capital offered us a smörgåsbord (yes we know that's not German but, it works) of new brands and exciting takes on style that are off our beloved beaten track - NY-London-Milan-Paris. Let us share our top 5 with you:

1. Schumacher

A brand that has long been on our radar but their new Autumn Winter 14/15 collection was truly delicious. With inspiring styling on the catwalk (the textural three-tier layering was bang-on) and some very well-heeled Schumacher girls at the store's after-party - we were totally under the sleek and chic brand's spell.
